YADD Trust was established in 2006 as a result of the need for a forum for young people to tackle problems related to substance abuse. The organisation is a brainchild of students at the Midlands State University (Gweru, Zimbabwe). YADD Trust emerges in the face of a massive growth in the rates of alcohol and drug abuse among young people.
